Pulp Fiction é um filme americano de 1994, do gênero policial, dirigido e escrito por Quentin Tarantino baseado em história dele e de Roger Avary.
São apresentadas três histórias de forma não cronológica. Em uma, aparecem Vincent Vega (John Travolta) e Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), que são dois mafiosos com a missão de fazer uma cobrança a mando do chefe, Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Em outra história, Vincent deve levar Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) - mulher de seu chefe - para se divertir enquanto ele viaja. Por último, é contada a história de Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis), um pugilista que foi comprado por Marsellus para perder uma luta, mas não cumpriu sua parte no acordo e agora precisa fugir do mafioso.
O roteiro escrito por Tarantino é excelente, merecidamente vencedor do Oscar. Ele faz vários rodeios que no fim se ligam, é espetacular, não existe nenhum furo, mesmo a trama sendo um pouco complexa. E quando chegamos ao fim, conseguimos juntar todos os pedaços do inicio até o meio e podemos assim concluir o filmão que estava passando a nossa frente! O elenco é composto de vários atores famosos, mas a grande dupla é John Travolta e Samuel L. Jackson, eles são a alma do filme, ambos indicados ao Oscar.
Resumindo: é um filme imperdivel, se você ainda não assistiu, vá correndo para uma locadora!
O que é importante ser falado é que a trilha sonora do filme é sensacional. Tarantino escolhe as músicas que vão tocar nos seus filmes pessoalmente, no seu acervo particular. Que inveja, imagino a coleção que ele tem!

Midtown foi uma banda pop punk americana de Springfield, Nova Jersey. Foi formada em novembro de 1998 por três estudantes da Universidade Rutgers, mas logo se tornou um quarteto: Gabe Saporta (vocals, bass), Tyler Rann (guitar, vocals), Heath Saraceno (guitar, vocals) e Rob Hitt (drums).
A banda aproveitou a fértil cena punk de Nova Jersey para desenvolver uma sonoridade que combina elementos de emo e punk rock e começou a gravar logo após sua formação. Midtown se desfez em 2005, após o lançamento do álbum "Forget What You Know".
O ex-vocalista Gabe Saporta criou uma banda de rock alternativo, "Cobra Starship", onde ocupa a posição de líder e vocalista da banda.
